Standing Stone

On the left of the road as you pass Punchestown racecourse in Craddockstown West is another huge megalithic longstone standing at 15 feet high and set tilted. You can see the angle from the inset below. I had to get permission at a nearby farm to visit this site as it was standing in a field with newly sown crops.

Situated: In the centre of a field directly opposite the main entrance to Punchestown racecourse. As you look at the monument from the entrance drive to your right, take the next left turn and the farm is the first gate on your right.
