Eden Bullaun Stone This huge bullaun stone is located on the grounds of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic church in Kilmainhamwood. The single bullaun measures 0.36x 0.32 approx and is 0.23 metres deep. It is damaged on the western edge. The sandstone block appears to have been roughly shaped, and gives the impression that it may have been intended to use it as a font. About 200 metres north west from here, you will find a Cross slab, a medieval font and an effigial slab in Kilmainhamwood graveyard. |
