Milltown

Stone Pair

This pair of standing stones are part of a complex of megaliths in Milltown townland, west of Dingle town. They are about 1.5 metres apart. The eastern stone is now lying prostrate and the western stone appears to be broken. It is now a low stump with a larger piece lying next to it. The stone pair are known locally as Geataí na Glóire - The Gates of Glory. South of here in the same field is Milltown rock art and in the next field next to Milestone House is Gallán na Cille Brice.

Situated: Easy. Located 50 metres beyond the rock art, in the field east of Milestone House by the north side of the R559, one mile west of Dingle Town.
