Banagher Megalithic Complex Court Tomb The court tomb is just 100 metres east of the multi-period megalithic complex at Banagher. The court tomb may have been constructed roughly around the same period as the passage tomb. Sadly the monument, which was extant in 1965 has since been completely destroyed. The stones, shown in the photos below, are about 60 metres north of where the site is marked on the National Monuments website. We are not sure if this maybe the correct location or if it is field clearance. But the shape of some of the stones are similar to those used in other court cairns. We would not recommend a visit, but like the passage tomb this site offers superb views to the south-east.
